C Family | family session {Huntington WV family photographer}

I got so excited when this sweet mama called me and said she wanted to schedule another session– I’ve loved her (and her family) since their last session, back in 2013 (which you can see here— you won’t believe how the children have grown!)  A lot changes in 3 years!  The kiddos are still absolutely beautiful but I really felt like their personalities shined brightly in this session.  We went to one of my favorite locations and spent time running, skipping, climbing trees (yes, that happened!) and chasing a few ducks.  I even let the kids try taking a few snaps with my camera, which they loved!  I am so glad to be working again with them and look forward to seeing them again soon!

I *LOVED* this one in black and white– so beautiful!

Kim D | Maternity Session {Huntington Maternity Photographer}

I instantly liked Kim from the moment we first spoke.  She is so carefree and relaxed (ha- basically the opposite of me! 😉 ) and is expecting a sweet baby boy soon.  I got even more excited when she said she wanted to bring her big old dog (her first baby!) to the session.  You KNOW I love dogs so much (have you seen my Instagram? It’s basically just pics of my dogs…I might be obsessed) so I was pumped for him to join us.   Jasper was the BEST behaved dog in the whole entire park that day and isn’t he adorable with the onesies? You can tell he’s going to be a great big brother!

Client Style Feature

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE when clients send me photos of their images in their homes!

This family is working on a gallery wall (work in progress– hence the empty frame) but could you design a better wall??? I love everything– the clean, almost monochromatic color scheme of that buttery wall and the white frames; the arrangement of the frames and other elements; the mixing of the glass and the canvas on the texture of the wooden wall….eeeek it’s perfect!!! I’m so excited to see the finished product, which will take place after the family’s last session in their Client Loyalty Program this summer.  Thank you, thank you D family for not only choosing Captured Bliss but for sharing your talent with me!!!

Baby A | 5 months old

Baby A is such a big boy now! I loved hanging with his family for the morning, doing a relaxed kind of session where we just focused on him and the things he’s able to do now.  He sure has changed from his newborn session (see that here).  He can prop up on his arms, grab his feet, and roll back and forth.  He can also nibble his mama’s nose– how cute is that?? 🙂  Thanks, D family, for letting me come and play!

Baby L | Newborn

Oh my word.  Where do I even begin?  This precious princess came to me at just a few days old for her session- and boy, was she amazing!  Once we got her tummy full and her body all warmed up she slept like a champion.  I wished she could have stayed ALL day long!  One other thing I loved about her– her family is AMAZING– seriously the nicest folks you could ever hope to meet!  I am so thankful our paths crossed and they’ve joined the CBP family– because I can’t wait to work together again!
