C Family | family session {Huntington WV family photographer}

I got so excited when this sweet mama called me and said she wanted to schedule another session– I’ve loved her (and her family) since their last session, back in 2013 (which you can see here— you won’t believe how the children have grown!)  A lot changes in 3 years!  The kiddos are still absolutely beautiful but I really felt like their personalities shined brightly in this session.  We went to one of my favorite locations and spent time running, skipping, climbing trees (yes, that happened!) and chasing a few ducks.  I even let the kids try taking a few snaps with my camera, which they loved!  I am so glad to be working again with them and look forward to seeing them again soon!

I *LOVED* this one in black and white– so beautiful!

U Family | Proctorville family photographer

To celebrate my birthday a couple of months ago, I gave away a free session over on Captured Bliss Photography’s Facebook page.  This family won and oh my gracious, I’m so glad they did!!! How adorable are they? I loved their coordinating outfits and I’m glad we delayed the session until the leaves began to change– the results are perfect!!  Thank you, U family, and welcome to the CBP family!

How much fun is this?? I love when a family lets me experiment a little– and I especially love when we have amazing results!!2016-01-05_00142016-01-05_00152016-01-05_00162016-01-05_0017

This family is so creative and fun– check out this awesome Star Wars themed nursery!  I loved the unique touches they made and it looks so cozy and perfect for their baby boy.  I can’t wait for his newborn session in a few months!

Baby J

One of my favorite families called to let me know their precious baby girl was born! I was so excited to spend some time with her and capturing this fleeting moment in her life.  She was wide awake and happy- I’ve never seen a newborn so alert!  Little Miss didn’t want to miss any of the action.   Also- do you see that christening gown and quilt– they’re 80 years old! I love when we’re able to work in family mementos during a sessions– this is what CBP is all about!

2015 Kickoff– H family Maternity

I never, never work in the winter months– that’s when I do my taxes, take workshops in better my craft, revamp business policies/pricing/etc.  But I simply couldn’t resist taking on a session when this adorable family called!  They are expecting their first baby, a little boy who will be named Levi, and are over the moon excited.  I am so glad they called and honored that they allowed me to share in these moments.  Wishing them an excellent birth experience and a healthy, happy baby boy! <3
