I was recently approached by the administrator for the Neurosciences department at Marshall University Medical Center– they wanted a large-scale, custom display of my work for their lobby, offices, and clinic areas. I was SO excited- what an opportunity to showcase my work (me! little old me!!) in this permanent display! It took a bit of time to get it all designed but in the end I created several unique displays of local images and installed them recently. They look fantastic- such bright bursts of color in an otherwise dark area (this department is in the basement). They have 39 large prints of my work and are considering more…someone pinch me, ok? 🙂 Here’s a preview (please excuse the iPhone photos– I forgot to take my trusty Mark Wahlberg with me for these!)
This one is one 20×20 square and 4 10×10 squares.
This one is 2 20x30s and 2 16x20s (and might be my favorite!)
Or maybe this one is my favorite- one 30×40 and 4 12x18s….it is massive! (All of the images in this display were taken in my backyard when the American Queen sternwheeler went by last summer- so beautiful and amazing!)
Nurses’ Station areas:
This one is one 30×30 square and 4 12x18s.
And this one is one 30×40 and 4 12x18s.
Trees- one 20×20 square and 4 10x10s.
Grand Canyon: 2 8×8, 2 8×10, 2 8×12
Sunrises- 1 20×30, 2 16×20
Thanks for taking a look and if you’re at MU Health soon, take a trip to the basement and let me know what you think of it in person! 🙂
